I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, to devise skillful works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass, and in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all manner of workmanship. Exodus 31:3-5

Hello, my name is Mike Pardue. Thank you for stopping by to look at my unique handmade items. I am a Western silversmith who specializes in making unique, one of a kind items. I was raised in Midland Texas, where I have spent most of my life. I worked on several of the areas ranches in my youth as well as ridding pens in feedlots. In 1984 I married my high school sweetheart, and look forward to many more years with her. We have two daughters and one son in law. I work for the City of Midland as a Firefighter/ Paramedic where I have been employed for 21 years.
I became interested in silver work at an early age and in 2001 I began to learn the trade. I attended Johnny Wyerts engraving school in Alpine TX. I got serious about the trade in 2005 and attended an engraving and drawing seminar hosted by the Traditional Cowboy Artists in Oklahoma City. I am always interested in ways to improve my work by attending classes and getting input and information from other makers.
I have had my work displayed in the Trappings show in Elko Nevada, the Heart of the West show in Lander Wyoming as well as The Cowboy Trappings show in Alpine TX. I will be submitting pieces to these shows again this year.
Please look around; if I can be of assistance in anyway, please feel free to contact me, I will be glad to help.
